• Cleanliness, plantation drives, Sawachta Shapath also organised to mark the occasion

BUDGAM: Ayush Health and Wellness Centre (AHWC) Kenihama in collaboration with Government Middle school (GMS) Kenihama, Budgam today celebrated ‘Sawachhta Pakhwada’ and organised various activities under this initiative. The staff of AHWC, Teachers and large number of students participated in these activities. During the celebrations, cleanliness drive and an awareness programme was organised in which all the officials and students participated.

Medical Officer, Ayush Health and Wellness Center Kenihama, Dr. Nusrat Bashir while speaking on the occasion said that Sawachta Pakhwada is a national initiative designed to promote sanitation and hygiene. She highlighted that by organising this  Swachhta Pakhwada,  Ayush and Wellness Center Kenihama is committed  to not only advancing wellness through traditional practices but also promoting public health through proactive community engagement. During the celebrations, Swachhta shapath and plantation drive was also held to mark the occasion. Later, Health supplements and free medicines for various ailments were also distributed among the participants.
