BANDIPORA: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Bandipora, Indu Kanwal Chib, today chaired a meeting to review the Water Conservation Plan and progress of related measures in the district.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the status of water conservation initiatives and sought feedback from the concerned departments on measures being undertaken to conserve and efficiently manage water resources.

The DC stressed the need for close coordination among Jal Shakti, Agriculture, NHPC, Municipal Committees and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of the Water Conservation Plan. She called for focused efforts at the field level and timely completion of planned interventions for sustainable water management. Senior officers from Jal Shakti, Agriculture, NHPC, Municipal Committees, Planning department and other concerned departments attended the meeting.
