REASI: An insightful event aimed at promoting awareness among students on entrepreneurship was organized by Government Polytechnic College Reasi in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI). The session, led by Abhilash Kumar Braroo, JKEDI's (District Nodal Officer) imparted valuable knowledge and inspiration to students to focus on the significance of entrepreneurship in today’s evolving job market.

The event attracted more than 90 students, in addition to the entire faculty members making it a well-attended and highly engaging session.   Braroo encouraged the students to adopt an entrepreneurial mindset, emphasizing the opportunities available for young innovators and problem solvers in this region. He highlighted how entrepreneurship not only contributes to economic development but also fosters self-reliance, critical thinking & leadership qualities.

Through real-life examples and success stories, Braroo demonstrated how individuals from various backgrounds have transformed their ideas into successful ventures. He urged students to take advantage of the various schemes and support systems available through JKEDI and other government programs. His motivational talk stressed the importance of perseverance, creativity and taking calculated risks, which are vital traits for any aspiring entrepreneur.

Principal Government Polytechnic College Reasi, Er. Vinay Gupta   expressed appreciation for the session, such initiatives are essential for encouraging students to explore career paths beyond traditional employment options. The event was a resounding success, leaving the attendees more informed and inspired to take bold steps toward entrepreneurship.
