DODA: A solidarity program on solid waste management was organized today here at Government Higher Secondary School Boys, with the goal of educating students about the importance of proper waste disposal. Chief Education Officer Parkash Lal Thapa was the Chief Guest, while Executive Officer (EO) MC, Ravi Parihar and Assistant Professor, Botany, Government Degree College Dr. Sandeep Kotwal were Guests of Honor.

The highlights of the event were Expert lectures on importance of solid waste management for environmental conservation and interactive sessions on best practices for waste reduction and segregation with emphasis on individual responsibility in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

Under the guidance of Principal Rishi Kumar Manhas, the event was efficiently managed by Uttam Singh, Lecturer in Physics. The initiative showcases the school's commitment towards environmental awareness and community service by encouraging students to adopt eco-friendly habits and contribute to a cleaner and greener Doda.
