BANDIPORA: As part of the ongoing "Safai Apnao, Beemari Bhagao" campaign, the Municipal Council (MC) Bandipora carried out a comprehensive cleanliness drive focusing on the cleaning of drains and Garbage Vulnerable Points (GVPs) across the town.

The initiative aimed to improve sanitation, ensure the free flow of drainage, and eliminate waste accumulation in vulnerable areas to reduce the risk of waterborne and vector-borne diseases.

Sanitation workers actively removed accumulated waste and silt from drains while thoroughly cleaning GVPs to restore hygienic conditions. The drive also served as an opportunity to encourage residents to maintain cleanliness, dispose-off waste responsibly, and support the collective effort of keeping Bandipora clean and healthy.

The Municipal Council Bandipora remains committed to strengthening sanitation services and promoting community participation through regular cleanliness drives under the "Safai Apnao, Beemari Bhagao" campaign.
