SAMBA: Under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner (DC) Samba, Abhishek Sharma, the District Administration successfully conducted a Swachhta campaign at the Lieutenant Colonel Narain Singh Memorial. The initiative aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental sustainability within the community.
Adding to the Swachhta campaign, a plantation drive titled "Ek Ped Shaheedo Ke Naam" was also organized. This drive encouraged the planting of trees in memory of our brave martyrs, symbolizing respect and gratitude for their sacrifices.
Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Samba, Champa Devi, emphasized the importance of the campaign and encouraged active community participation. “Cleanliness and environmental conservation are crucial for the well-being of our society. Let us all come together and contribute to this noble cause,” she stated.
The event witnessed the presence of various district and sectoral officers who actively participated and extended their support to the campaign. Their involvement highlighted the collective effort of the administration in fostering a cleaner and greener Samba.
