• Main focus was laid on Solid Waste Management

ANANTNAG: Swachhta Pakhwada campaign continued today in both rural and urban areas of Anantnag, emphasizing awareness on solid waste management. Various activities were organized across panchayats and wards, educating participants and citizens on the proper disposal of solid waste.

Special awareness cum action-oriented campaign on generating awareness among communities were organised. Focus was laid on educating them about converting Wet Waste into Organic Manure at household level.  Exercises for repair & branding of all sanitation assets in public places, tourist spots & markets were conducted.
