In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

GANDERBAL: The valedictory function of the “Hindi Pakhvara” organised by the Rajbhasha Cell of the Central University of Kashmir (CUKashmir) from 14th to 30th, September, was organised at the Tulmulla Campus here on Wednesday. Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor, Prof. A Ravinder Nath, congratulated the staff members for actively and enthusiastically participating in competitions including dictation of admn vocabulary, essay/letter writing, translation/poetry and Hindi noting and drafting.

Highlighting the significance of promoting Hindi as a link language that unites the diverse communities of India, Prof. A Ravinder Nath emphasized that Hindi Pakhvara is not merely a symbolic observance, but a reminder of the collective responsibility to strengthen the language of administration, culture, and unity. He later distributed cash prizes and certificates among the participants.

She observed that Hindi, as the Rajbhasha, transcends religious and regional boundaries, belonging equally to every citizen, and therefore deserves to be learned and promoted by all.
