UDHAMPUR: The 14th District Taekwondo Championship 2024-25 successfully concluded at Subhash Stadium, Udhampur. The event was organized in collaboration with the District Administration Udhampur and the Department of Youth Services and Sports, under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association.

Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, graced the occasion as the chief guest, while IAS Probationer, Swati Sheemar, was the guest of honour. The championship witnessed the participation of around 200 participants across various categories, showcasing their skills and competitive spirit.

While addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner lauded the efforts of the organizers for the smooth and successful conduct of the championship. She emphasized that such events play a crucial role in nurturing young talent and promoting a vibrant sports culture, ultimately contributing to a healthier society.
