JAMMU: Ankit Love, ex Mayor of London candidate, and chief patron of Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) plans to build a 5 million square feet (464,515 square meters) luxury hotel resort retail and theme park complex inspired by Indian mythology near Vishnoo Devi Temple which visited by over 10 million people each year.

As per a press release, the development will be built on 250 acres (1 square kilometre) plot of land he inherited in Bhug Tharian, Ramnagar near Vishnoo Devi Temple, after his mother advocate Jay Mala and father Prof. Bhim Singh passed away recently in 2023 and 2022. Both of Love’s parents were founders of National Panthers Party that has continuously won local, assembly and parliamentary elections for over 44 years in the Udhampur region since its founding in 1982.

The development will be divided into districts like a city centred around the finest luxury brand retail mall in India, as well as India’s most luxurious hotel and spa resort with over 600 rooms and suites. 200 residential apartments and villas will be built to an exacting standard and will be the most desirable homes in India. The development will have a water amusements park and a theme park bringing Indian mythology to life in an interactive way.

It will be the ultimate events and marriage destination in India. It will also house India’s most advanced commercial heliport that will connect to the soon to be opened Udhampur airport 17 miles (27 kilometres) away in just 5 minutes. Flights from Delhi to Udhampur airport will take 1 hour 15 minutes.

Vishnoo Devi Temple, one of the most ancient temples in the world is about 55 kilometres drive through the winding and picturesque roads of the Himalaya mountains. This by helicopter is 15 nautical miles, and about 7 minutes flight. One of India’s most picturesque winter resort towns Patnitop is 70 kilometres drive or 20 nautical miles, a 10 minutes flight by helicopter.

With an anticipated budget of INR₹6,000 Crore (USD$650 million) and 5 years to build, the development will provide over 8,000 jobs during the construction phase, and upon completion over 5,000 direct jobs, as well 15,000 indirect jobs reserved first for the people of Jammu.

“This will be one of the world’s finest palatial hotel resorts and theme park that will champion ancient Indian artistry and mythology and its revered personalities raising global awareness of the world’s oldest written epic stories Valmiki’s Ramayana and Vyasa’s Mahabharata like never witnessed before,” said Ankit Love.
