JAMMU: Bharatiya Janata Party Jammu & Kashmir General Secretary and former Deputy Mayor Jammu Baldev Singh Billawaria was formally released the devotional Bhajan “Bawe Wali Da Dawara,” to be imbued with deep faith, devotion, and cultural values. The Bhajan is dedicated to the rich spiritual heritage of the region and beautifully reflects unwavering devotion to Mata Bawe Wali of Jammu.
The bhajan has been soulfully rendered by renowned singer Nirjala Dogra, whose melodious and emotive voice brings the composition. The heartfelt lyrics have been penned by Ganga Panotra, while the music has been composed and arranged by Kumar Gaurav, adding a divine and captivating musical essence to the Bhajan.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria stated that Jammu is rightly known as the “City of Temples,” as it stands as a vibrant center of faith, spiritual energy, and cultural traditions. He emphasized that every street and locality in Jammu resonates with chants of devotion to the Goddess, forming a unique identity of the region.
He further remarked that bhajans like “Bawe Wali Da Dawara” reflect the soul of Sanatan culture and spread positive energy in society. Such initiatives not only strengthen religious sentiments but also serve as a powerful medium to connect the younger generation with their roots, traditions, and cultural values, he added.
Billawaria also highlighted the efforts of the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in developing temples and religious sites across the country. He noted that through modernization, improved accessibility, and enhanced facilities at pilgrimage centers, a new era has been established for devotees. He added that significant steps have been taken to promote religious tourism across India, including Jammu & Kashmir, which has also contributed to strengthening the local economy.
