ANANTNAG: The Red Ribbon Club of Government Degree College (GDC) for Women Anantnag organized a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with the Blood Centre (Department of Transfusion Medicine) Govt. Medical College Anantnag.

The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Prof (Dr) Masood Ahmad Malik who, in his address, appreciated the initiative and emphasized upon the critical importance of blood donation in saving lives. He also remarked that such efforts inculcate a spirit of philanthropy besides providing timely help to those in need.

He thanked the donors who comprised student volunteers, faculty and the staff of the college for their selfless gesture in the service of the entire community. The Principal also lauded the efforts of the medical staff in contributing towards the success of the event. As many as 45 donors participated in the event whose contribution was acknowledged with Certificates of Appreciation from the chair.
