BHADERWAH: The Child Helpline Desk Bhaderwah, under Mission Vatsalya of the Department of Social Welfare, concluded its awareness campaign launched to raise awareness against child labour and promote Child Helpline number 1098.

During the campaign, shopkeepers, drivers and other members of the public were sensitised to the harmful effects of child labour and the importance of protecting children from exploitation. The team distributed awareness material and pamphlets highlighting the importance of preventing child labour and promoting Child Helpline 1098. The public was encouraged to identify and report cases of child labour, abuse, exploitation and children in need of care and protection.

The campaign highlighted the Child Helpline 1098, a toll-free, 24×7 service for children in distress and those in need of care and protection. Shopkeepers, drivers and the general public were urged to stay vigilant and promptly report any case of child labour, abuse, exploitation or other situations requiring child protection assistance.
