DODA: To review the functioning of healthcare institutions and assess the quality of services being provided to the public, the Chief Medical Officer Doda Dr. Vinod Sharma conducted an inspection of Primary Health Centre Changa in Medical Block Gandoh. The visit aimed to evaluate the overall functioning of the health facility, ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services and identify areas requiring improvement.
Dr. Sharma inspected different sections of the hospital, examined official records, reviewed attendance registers and assessed the availability of essential services and facilities. He also interacted with patients to obtain firsthand feedback regarding the healthcare services being provided at the institution.
While interacting with the staff, the CMO emphasized the importance of punctuality, professional dedication and patient-friendly healthcare services. ”All healthcare workers must remain committed to their duties and ensure better patient care outcomes through efficient and compassionate service delivery,” he stressed.
Later, Dr. Sharma convened a meeting with the staff members in the presence of Block Medical Officer Dr. Farooq Saleem. During the meeting, the staff members highlighted certain operational and infrastructural challenges affecting the smooth functioning of the institution. The CMO assured them that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned authorities for appropriate redressal. Dr. Sharma appreciated the efforts of the medical and paramedical staff serving in the far-flung area and urged them to continue working with dedication and sincerity for the welfare of the people.
