RAMBAN: Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan, today chaired a meeting of the District Task Force (DTF) to finalize modalities for the implementation of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination programme in district Ramban.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the preparedness of the Health Department for the effective rollout of the HPV vaccination drive, scheduled to be launched on February 28, 2026 at 11 identified health centres across the district.

Detailed deliberations were held regarding the target population, infrastructure readiness, availability of trained manpower, cold chain management and identification of vaccination sites.
