In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

BANDIPORA: The District Hospital Bandipora has imposed a ban on videography and photography within its premises. The decision, issued by the hospital administration, aims to maintain the privacy and dignity of patients and ensure smooth functioning of the healthcare facility.

According to the official statement, the hospital has been witnessing instances where individuals record videos or take photographs, often leading to privacy violations and disruptions in patient care. Such practices have also caused inconvenience to medical staff and patients, prompting the administration to take strict action.

The hospital management has appealed to visitors and attendants to cooperate with the new directive and respect the sanctity of the medical institution. Any violation of the ban may lead to legal action, the statement warned.

The decision has drawn mixed reactions from the public. While some have welcomed the move as a necessary step to protect patient confidentiality, others have expressed concerns about transparency and accountability in hospital operations. Authorities have assured that the ban will not hinder legitimate grievances or issues from being addressed through proper channels.
