SRINAGAR: The Inter Zonal District Level Kabaddi Tournament organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K concluded at Boys HSS Jawahar Nagar here. Competitions were conducted for Boys of U/19, U/14 and U/17 age group categories.

All the eight Sports Zones of district Srinagar participated in this tournament. Young Kabaddi players displayed exceptional talent in the game during the organization of the tournament. Student players showcased their best sportsmanship spirit and surprised everyone with their remarkable skills. Zone Nishat emerged the winner in these competitions while Zone Amirakadal got the second place as the runner-up Zone.

Principal BHSS Jawaharnagar Shafiqa Ahmad distributed Trophies among the winning and runner of teams at a prize distribution function. Sports Wing of HSS Jawaharnagar and the officials of the YSS were also present on this occasion. DYSSO Srinagar felicitated the Principal with a memento.

Meanwhile Zone Zaldagar is engaging a good number of young boys in Inter School/Zonal Level Cricket. The tourney is being organised for Boys of U/17 age group at MPML HSS Srinagar. Twelve Teams of the Zone comprising Government and Private Schools are participating in this tournament.
