REASI: Under the visionary leadership of Khalil Ahmed Choudhary, the Chairman (also Pr. District and Sessions Judge) and Pooja Gupta, Secretary, the District Legal Services Authority Reasi organised awareness and Legal Literacy activities to observe Universal Health Coverage Day.

The awareness programs were held at Primary Health and Wellness Centre, Akhli Katra, CHC Hospital Mahore and Primary Health Centre, Laiter Pouni. Panel Advocates, Shangloo Devi and Imran Akram served as resource persons. A large number of local residents, DLSA staff and PLVs attended the programs.

The Resource Persons disseminated information regarding health related rights and the government schemes available to citizens, particularly vulnerable and marginalised groups. Additionally, an awareness program on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao was also held at Legal Aid clinic Chapano.
