UDHAMPUR: Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Kasuri today organized a special morning assembly-cum-awareness programme dedicated to the life and contributions of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee, a distinguished patriot, visionary leader and statesman.

The event aimed to educate students about Dr. Mookerjee’s pivotal role in national integration, educational reforms and constitutional values. As part of the programme, students presented insightful speeches and presentations, highlighting Dr Mookerjee’s enduring legacy and his significant contributions to the nation.

Addressing the gathering, the school Principal underscored the importance of instilling patriotic values and a sense of national service among the youth. She urged students to draw inspiration from Dr. Mookerjee’s courage, vision and steadfast commitment to the nation.

The programme was organized as part of the ongoing two-year commemoration of Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee’s 125th birth anniversary, which began on July 6, 2025 and will conclude on July 6, 2027. The campaign reflects the nation's deep respect for his contributions to national unity and constitutional integrity.
