REASI: An Inter-District Divisional Level Girls Athletic Meet, hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, started here today.  Deputy Commissioner (DC), Vishesh Mahajan was the chief guest at the inaugural event. He hailed the commendable performance of girl  athletes and said by their  athletic skills reflect the true essence of “Nari shakti” and “Yuva Vikas.”.

 The athletic meet, held for the U-14,U-17 and U-19 girls, witnessed participation of 250 girl  athletes from 10 districts of the Jammu division.  The meet was a true showcase of competitive spirit and athletic skill, with all participants displaying remarkable sportsmanship. 

The event also displayed a message of Voter awareness Under SVEEP  and urged people of Reasi to vote in upcoming elections .

Event also set a strong foundation for students for future success in sports. The event was graced by the presence of DYSSO Reasi Tarsem Singh, physical education teachers, and field staff of DYSS from various districts of Jammu division.
