AWANTIPORA: The Office of Dean of Students, Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST), organised a capacity-building programme for Cultural Committee and student cultural club under the Karmayogi Bharat Initiative at the Nund Rishi Auditorium on Tuesday.
The programme was organised in line with the government’s recent emphasis on integrating the Karmayogi initiative into capacity-building programmes, with the objective of fostering continuous learning, strengthening competencies, and enhancing the effectiveness of institutional activities. The programme commenced with the playing of the Karmayogi Gaan, setting the tone for the proceedings and highlighting the core spirit of the Karmayogi initiative.
The programme was held in the presence of the Dean of Students, faculty members and other stakeholders. The session provided a platform for members of the Cultural Committee to enhance their understanding of their roles and responsibilities and to develop skills required for effectively planning and conducting cultural activities.
The Committee endeavours to focus on teamwork, leadership, communication. coordination, creativity and effective programme management. Participants were encouraged to adopt a collaborative and structured approach towards organising cultural events and contributing meaningfully to student development nation-building.
