JAMMU: Kids Planet Pre School celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and vibrant participation under the theme “Move, Breathe & Shine.” The event aimed at promoting physical fitness, confidence, and sportsmanship among young learners.

The celebration commenced with a meaningful plantation ceremony, symbolizing growth and responsibility towards nature. This was followed by a delightful yoga performance by the tiny tots, showcasing flexibility and mindfulness at an early age. A melodious welcome song set the tone for the day, after which students enthusiastically participated in various sports games and fun-filled activities designed to encourage teamwork and coordination.

The programme was graced by Chairman Ravi Gupta and conducted under the guidance of Director Kanchan Gupta and Principal Shilpa Kalsotra.  Addressing the gathering, Ravi Gupta emphasized the importance of physical activity in early childhood development. He stated that sports not only build strength and stamina but also instill discipline, leadership qualities, and a positive attitude in children from a young age.

Director Kanchan Gupta highlighted that such events provide a platform for children to express their energy and talents confidently. She appreciated the collective efforts of teachers and parents in making the event successful.

Principal Shilpa Kalsotra remarked that the theme “Move, Breathe & Shine” reflects the school’s commitment to nurturing healthy minds and bodies. She encouraged parents to support active lifestyles at home as well.

Parents extended wholehearted support and encouragement to the young participants. Trophies, medals, and certificates were awarded to appreciate the efforts of all children. The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving students motivated and inspired to stay active and confident.
