SHOPIAN: Sankalp Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mission Shakti, Shopian today organized an awareness programme under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) initiative at Primary Health Centre (PHC), Sedow to raise awareness about the protection, education and empowerment of the girl child.

The programme focused on promoting gender equality and encouraging the community to ensure equal opportunities for girls through education, healthcare and social support.

The programme concluded with an interactive session in which participants actively engaged with the resource persons and pledged to support the cause of protecting, educating, and empowering every girl child. Awareness pamphlets carrying information on women safety initiatives, helpline numbers and government welfare schemes were also distributed among the participants.
