PULWAMA: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, the district administration of Pulwama, in collaboration with the District Social Welfare Office & Education Department, organized a series of awareness programs today across various educational institutions in the district.
The camps witnessed active participation from students, teachers, and officials from the Education, Health, and Social Welfare departments. During the sessions, resource persons sensitized students to the harmful effects of drug abuse and encouraged them to adopt healthy lifestyle choices.
Interactive sessions, group discussions, and poster-making activities were conducted to engage students and reinforce key messages. IEC material, including pamphlets, helpline numbers, and booklets, was also distributed among the participants. Students took a collective pledge to lead a drug-free life and act as ambassadors of change in their communities.
The campaign will continue in the coming days in more educational institutes, aiming to strengthen grassroots awareness and preventive action against substance abuse.
