AWANTIPORA: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, an awareness programme was successfully conducted at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Khrew to educate students about the harmful effects of drug abuse.

The programme was attended by SDPO Pampore and SHO Khrew, who interacted with the students and staff. They highlighted the serious physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse and emphasized the importance of staying away from drugs. Students were encouraged to become ambassadors of a drug-free society and to spread awareness among their peers and communities.

The officers also urged them to focus on education, healthy lifestyles, and positive activities. The initiative was well received by the school administration and students, who appreciated the efforts of Police in promoting a safe and drug-free environment.
