DODA: Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan was celebrated at Anganwadi Centre Ziani, Kastigarh under Poshan Project Bhagwah. The programme was conducted under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner Doda Krishan Lal, supervision of DPO ICDS Doda, Akhtar Hussain Qazi and under the overall look-after of CDPO Kishore Kumar.

The event focused on generating awareness among women, children and local beneficiaries about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of adopting a healthy and disciplined lifestyle. Anganwadi workers actively engaged participants through discussions and awareness activities, highlighting the role of families and communities in preventing substance abuse.

Special emphasis was laid on linking nutrition, health and a drug-free lifestyle, especially among young children and adolescents. Participants were encouraged to take a pledge against drug use and to spread awareness in their surroundings, making the campaign more effective at the grassroots level.

The programme reflected the continued commitment of the ICDS Department to support the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and promote a safe, healthy and drug-free society across District Doda through sustained awareness and community participation.
