GANDERBAL: Police in Ganderbal concluded the Volleyball Tournament organised under the Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Government Higher Secondary School, Gund, with an exciting grand finale witnessed by enthusiastic spectators, sports lovers and local youth.
The concluding ceremony was attended by SDPO Kangan Shri Rajeev Raina-JKPS, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Gund, SHO Gund and other senior police officers. In the much-awaited final, Sindh Spikers Barwalla emerged victorious, defeating Mammer Goodwill 2â0 sets in a spirited and competitive encounter.
The tournament provided a vibrant platform for local youth to showcase their sporting talent while fostering discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy recreation. The initiative also aimed at strengthening police-public relations and promoting meaningful engagement with youth through sports.
