PULWAMA: Continuing its sustained campaign under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan, police in Pulwama carried out wild cannabis destruction drives at different locations to curb the illegal growth and availability of narcotic substances.

Police Post Newa, in coordination with Revenue officials, the Numberdar, volunteers, and media representatives, conducted a destruction drive at Malwari, where wild cannabis plants growing on Government land were identified and destroyed on the spot.

In a separate operation, Police Post Lassipora, with the active involvement of civil society members, conducted a wild cannabis destruction drive at Petipora Lassipora, during which wild cannabis growing in the area was identified and destroyed. Police remains committed to sustained preventive action and community participation under the Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan to build a drug-free society.
