SRINAGAR: To make the awareness regarding the procedures, provision, SOPs mandatory for the professional investigation under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, Police in Pulwama organised a workshop at Conference Hall of DPL Pulwama. Adl. SP Pulwama, DySP Hqrs Pulwama, DySP PCs, DySP DAR, Sr.PO, SHOs, Incharge PPs and investigating officers of District Pulwama attended the programme.

The workshop focused on improving procedural knowledge and ensuring professionalism during investigations to achieve effective prosecuting and convictions. During the workshop, detailed briefings were provided by Shri Umer Mansoor Sr. Prosecution officer and other senior officers of the District. In the course of the discussion, it was announced that a workshop was conducted to enhance the investigation skills of IOs in Pulwama district. The program aimed to equip IOs with advanced techniques and methodologies to better handle complex investigative challenges.
