KATRA: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) takes pride in announcing that its NCC Coordinator, Dr.Varun Dutta, Associate Professor, School of Mechanical Engineering, has successfully completed theprestigious Pre-Commissioning Course at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) Nagpur. Dr. Dutta underwent rigorous military training at OTA Nagpur and has been formally commissionedas a Lieutenant.
He demonstrated exceptional dedication and performance throughout the courseand secured excellent grading in all examinations conducted during the training period.Adding further laurels to his achievement, Dr. Dutta also emerged victorious in the Innovation Competition and the Video Reel Making Competition during the course. He was awarded for these accomplishments by Maj Gen Upkar Chander, Commandant, OTA during the closing ceremony.
Prof. Pragati Kumar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of SMVDU, congratulated Dr. Dutta on his outstandingachievement and successful completion of the course.
