BAGANI: In a proactive outreach initiative dedicated to community welfare, the Crossed Swords Gunners of the White Knight Corps successfully organized a multi-speciality medical camp in Village Bagani. Held as a prelude to the upcoming World Health Day, the vital healthcare initiative operated under the theme “Swasth Gaon, Surakshit Gaon” (Healthy Village, Secure Village).

The medical camp witnessed a highly encouraging response from  218 local residents, who were able to avail themselves of comprehensive medical consultations. These services were delivered through a General Outpatient Department (OPD) conducted by a team of specialist doctors. To ensure immediate relief and ongoing support for patients in need, essential medicines were distributed entirely free of cost along with the Basic Diagnostic Services.

This initiative was carried out in close collaboration with the People’s Hut Foundation. The joint effort highlights a robust and effective civil-military partnership, specifically aimed at bridging the healthcare gap and enhancing medical accessibility for residents in remote and underserved areas.

The successful execution of the camp underscores the Indian Army’s continued commitment to grassroots community welfare and preventive healthcare. Through outreach programs like “Swasth Gaon, Surakshit Gaon,” the Armed Forces remain dedicated to fostering a healthier, more resilient, and secure rural environment for all citizens.
