REASI: The vibrant three-day Baisakhi Mela held at the historic shrine of Dera Baba Banda Bahadur concluded today with great enthusiasm, religious fervour and active public participation. A large number of devotees and visitors from across the district as well as adjoining states attended the mela to pay obeisance and partake in the celebrations associated with the auspicious festival of Baisakhi. The event served as a platform to showcase the rich cultural heritage and traditional ethos of the region.

Throughout the duration of the mela, stalls exhibiting local handicrafts, traditional cuisine and a variety of recreational activities contributed to the vibrant festive ambience and attracted considerable public interest.

The District Administration made comprehensive and well-coordinated arrangements to ensure the smooth and orderly conduct of the mela. Adequate provisions pertaining to security, sanitation, potable drinking water, medical assistance and traffic management were put in place to facilitate the convenience and safety of the visitors.
