SRINAGAR: As Jammu & Kashmir enters a new phase of growth and transformation, the demand for quality education, global exposure, and modern learning environments is rising rapidly. Recognising this shift, Erocon — India’s leading turnkey school advisory and infrastructure consultancy — has announced a strategic initiative to encourage entrepreneurs, institutions, and investors to establish globally aligned, child-centric schools across the Union Territory.

As part of this initiative, a strategic interaction session will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at 10 AM at Sarovar Portico, New Airport Road, Humhama, Srinagar. The session will be addressed by Mr. Shiraz Kirmani, Managing Director, Erocon; Mr. Anirban Basuray, Senior Consultant; and Mr. Abdul Azeem, Principal Architect.

With over 34 years of expertise in the K–12 education sector, Erocon aims to support the development of progressive educational institutions that go beyond conventional academics and prepare children for a rapidly evolving world.

The initiative focuses on promoting schools that are:

  • AI-integrated and technology enabled
  • Innovation-driven and globally aligned
  • Sports-centric and wellness focused
  • Skill-oriented and career aligned
  • Deeply focused on holistic child development
  • Designed to nurture creativity, leadership, entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, critical thinking, and technological adaptability alongside academic excellence

As parental expectations evolve and awareness of global education standards increases, Jammu & Kashmir is emerging as one of India’s most promising regions for organised premium schooling infrastructure and long-term educational investment.

Speaking on the initiative, Shiraz Kirmani, Managing Director, Erocon, said:

“Jammu & Kashmir possesses extraordinary educational potential and is at the threshold of a meaningful transformation. The schools of tomorrow must prepare children not only for examinations, but for leadership, innovation, life skills, and the future global workforce. Through this initiative, our objective is to guide and support visionary entrepreneurs and institutions in building schools that are globally aligned, technologically progressive, and deeply committed to child development.”

As part of its regional outreach, Erocon will conduct strategic interactions with prospective school promoters, business groups, and stakeholders to discuss school viability, educational planning, infrastructure strategy, compliance, investment structures, and sustainable operational models for premium K–12 institutions.

Having advised more than 1,076 schools across 24 Indian states and multiple international regions, Erocon provides integrated end-to-end services spanning feasibility studies, school advisory, academic planning, architecture, branding, construction management, and operational strategy for CBSE, ICSE, IB, and IGCSE institutions.

Erocon believes that strengthening educational infrastructure in Jammu & Kashmir will play a significant role in youth empowerment, employment generation, regional development, and building institutions capable of shaping future generations.
