UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Ananth Dwivedi, accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Prem Singh and other officers, today visited Government Medical College to take stock of the medical care being provided to passengers injured in a road accident at Gulli Gala on the Basantgarh–Ramnagar road.
The passenger bus was travelling from Pachound towards Ramnagar when the accident occurred, leaving several persons injured. The injured passengers were immediately evacuated with the timely intervention of local residents.
During his visit to GMC, the DC interacted with the injured passengers, enquired about their well-being and took a detailed assessment of the treatment being provided to them. He also reviewed the healthcare facilities and medical arrangements put in place by the hospital administration.
DC directed the hospital authorities to provide best possible medical care, timely treatment and all necessary assistance to the injured. He emphasized that every requisite measure be taken to ensure proper treatment and support for those affected by the unfortunate incident.
The district administration is closely monitoring the situation and coordinating with the concerned authorities to ensure that all necessary assistance is extended to the affected persons.
