Organised with the vision of promoting Sqay across the nation, the championship will bring together talented athletes from different states, offering them a unique competitive platform in an extraordinary winter setting. The serene yet challenging environment of Gulmarg will not only test the skills and endurance of participants but also highlight the cultural and historical roots of Sqay on a national canvas.

The championship will feature competitions across six dynamic events:

  • Individual Event

  • Girls Doubles
  • Boys & Girls Mixed Doubles
  • Mixed Team Event

Each participating state team will comprise five players and one coach, following a 2+3 team composition from the same state, strictly in accordance with the championship regulations.

The Sqay Federation of India continues to remain steadfast in its commitment to the development, recognition, and global promotion of Sqay. By hosting the Snow Sqay Championship, the Federation aims to inspire youth participation, preserve India’s rich martial heritage, and further establish Sqay as a prominent discipline within the domain of winter sports.

The 3rd Snow Sqay Championship 2026 is expected to be a landmark event—celebrating strength, discipline, cultural pride, and sporting excellence against one of India’s most iconic winter destinations.
