JAMMU: Lagan Society For Art And Culture (Regd.) organized a Musical Evening at Orphanage Home for Inmates at Ved Mandir Complex with great enthusiasm. In this function, Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta (Ex- Mayor, JMC) was the Chief Guest and Jenab Sohail Kazmi (Sr. Journalist and Social Activist) was presided over the function.
The function was started with a melodious Bhajan sung by Lagan Verma and Parmita Sharma followed by Various musical performances performed by the talented students of Lagan Society for Art and Culture which was much appreciated by the audience as well as the guests of the function. The Chief Guest, Sh. Chander Mohan Gupta expressed his appreciation for the efforts to preserve and promote culture through such artistic endeavor.
He also appreciated the efforts of the Lagan Society and also said that these type of functions helps to encourage the youngsters and also helps to promote the rich cultural heritage of the society. Jenab Sohail Kazmi said that Music is not only an activity this is also a worship of god and helps to develop overall personality of the humane. The Birthday of little Eshanaya Gupta was also celebrated in the function.
In the end, President LSAC, Mr. Rajesh Kumar thanked all the dignitaries and the audience who gave their valuable time in making this event a huge success. On the occasion, the participants were Lagan Verma, Parmita Sharma, Aditya Sharma, Sarthak Verma, Ram Bakshi, Hinaya Kotwal, Sh. Girdhari Lal (General Secretary, LSAC), Sonia Dogra (Treasurer, LSAC), Sh.
