HANDWARA: In a concerted effort to combat drug abuse, Police in Handwara organized a debate competition at High School Mandigam as part of the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan 2024-2025. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, and community members, aiming to educate the youth about the devastating effects of substance abuse.
The debate was graced by DySP (DAR) Handwara Shri Shafeeq Ahmad along with other police officers, who underscored the pivotal role of law enforcement and educational institutions in addressing the drug menace. In his address, Shri Shafeeq Ahmad urged students to stay away from narcotics and become ambassadors of awareness within their communities.
