POONCH: Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today convened a meeting at Dak Bunglow to finalize preparations for the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board (JKSSB) examination for the recruitment of Constables (Photography) in Home Department. ADC Tahir Mustafa Malik briefed the meeting regarding the arrangements put in place to ensure the smooth conduct of the examination.
The exam is scheduled on December 22, 2024, with 7049 candidates expected to appear in the exam across 32 designated centers established in the district. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the importance of a well-organized flying squad and effective supervision to ensure a seamless examination process. He highlighted the critical role of supervisors, observers, magistrates, and staff in maintaining fairness and transparency. He called for the completion of arrangements related to infrastructure, security, videography, and staff deployment well ahead of the exam date.
Additionally, the Deputy Commissioner underscored the need to provide adequate facilities for candidates, including sufficient seating, heating, lighting, sanitation, transportation, and security. The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed the commitment to conducting the SSB examination for JKP Constable (Photography) posts in a fair, transparent, and efficient manner, ensuring a smooth experience for all candidates.
