RAJOURI: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Rajouri Abhishek Sharma today convened a meeting to discuss arrangements for ‘Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore–2025’ campaign scheduled to be conducted from December 19 to December 25, 2025 along with the preparatory phase of Good Governance Week (GGW).
The meeting was held in the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s Office. The DDC emphasized the need for quality public service delivery in a transparent manner and within stipulated timelines. Stress was laid on maximum registration of grievances on the JK Samadhan portal and their timely redressal during the campaign period.
The DDC directed the officers to ensure effective implementation and wide awareness of Central and UT Government-sponsored schemes at the grassroots level. It was informed that special joint grievance redressal camps will be organized at the tehsil level, wherein officers including Tehsildars, BDOs, TSOs, TSWOs, CDPOs along with sectoral officers from Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary and other allied departments, shall participate.
Each camp shall have a registration desk, services delivery desk, and a dedicated JK Samadhan counter to facilitate citizens. The DDC further directed that a calendar of activities be issued by the concerned Additional Deputy Commissioners (ADCs) along with submission of a format detailing the services to be delivered during the campaign.
Officers were instructed to submit daily reports on the number of service delivery applications received and disposed of. Emphasis was also laid on providing basic citizen services including inheritance mutations, updation of Jamabandis, Aadhaar up-dation, Ujjwala e-KYC and other essential services during the camps.
The DDC also stressed the need to organize special camps in Terayath and Khawas, with particular focus on health and education-related services to address the specific needs of the residents of these areas.
