PULWAMA: As part of Good Governance Week-2024, 'Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore,' initiative today successfully engaged communities across Pulwama district. This nationwide campaign organized by the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG), Government of India, from December 19th to 24th, aims to enhance governance by bringing administration closer to the people, fostering transparency, accountability and effective service delivery at the grassroots level.
Block Tral witnessed a notable initiative that bridged the gap between administration and community aspirations. The initiative focused on addressing public grievances through a series of Grievance Redressal Camps, ensuring that citizen concerns were promptly attended to. These camps served as a platform for transparent governance, where local residents actively participated, expressing their needs and concerns directly to the administration.
In addition, Block Shadimarg also hosted a successful Grievance Redressal Camp. This event epitomized citizen-centric governance by facilitating open dialogue between the public and the administration. The camp focused on bridging the gap between administrative processes and grassroots aspirations, emphasizing transparency and accountability.
Furthermore, a Grievance Redressal Camp was conducted at Panchayat Halqa Panzgam, Block Awantipora in Pulwama. This initiative aimed to address grievances on the JK Samadhan grievance web portal, with special attention given to CPGRAMS grievances. Action was taken to address these issues, with applications disposed-off under service delivery.
Additionally, workshops and camps were organized across the district to ensure mass participation and involvement from people across all walks of life. The campaign besides addressing specific grievances also strengthened the communication between the administration and the public, fostering trust and collaboration.
