HANDWARA: Police in Handwara have initiated action for the attachment of immovable properties situated at Kohru and Udipora, Langate, in connection with the investigation of FIR No. 198/2003 of UAPA Act registered at Police Station Handwara.

The properties belong to the individuals identified as Fayaz Ahmad Bhat son of Mohammad Abdullah Bhat resident of Kohru, Langate, presently stated to be residing in Muzaffarabad, (PoK). The property identified for attachment comprises land measuring 1 Kanal and 2 Marlas at Kohru, Langate and Manzoor Ahmad Lone son of Gh. Qadir Lone resident of Udipora, Langate, presently stated to be residing in Basnada, (PoK). The property identified for attachment comprises land measuring 7 Kanals and 11 Marlas at Udipora, Langate.

The total estimated value of the properties is approximately ₹1 crore. The action has been initiated pursuant to the directions of the competent court as part of the ongoing legal proceedings in the case. J&K Police reiterates its commitment to enforcing the law, executing judicial orders, and pursuing legal action against absconders in accordance with the law.
