BHADARWAH:  Additional Deputy Commissioner Bhadarwah Sudershan   Kumar today convened a meeting to discuss the arrangements for the upcoming celebration of Independence Day 2024, here at Dak Bunglow Bhadarwah.

It was decided in the meeting that VIP will hoist National Flag at 8.55 AM and will take salute at the march past parade of the  contingents to be drawn from Police, NCC senior division, NCC Junior division  and government and private schools. The day will start with playing of Shehnai Wadan by the Information Department Bhadarwah.

Regarding other arrangements like security, first aid, sanitation, fire and emergency services, seating arrangements, power supply, arrangement of drinking water and issuance of invitation cards were also discussed and directions passed on to the concerned officers at the meeting.

All the government buildings of all institutions will be illuminated on the national event. It was informed that the full dress rehearsal of the programme will be held on August 13 at 10.30AM.
