The Survival Fight of JK Monitor: For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.). His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. • BJP strengthens grassroots cadre through Prashikshan camps across Ladakh

LEH, LADAKH: BJP General Secretary (Organization) for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Ashok Koul, along with Ladakh BJP President Tashi Gyaltson, addressed three Prashikshan Camps held across Leh, Sham, and Changthang districts, covering 22 Mandals in the Union Territory of Ladakh. The camps witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 450 attendees, including District Office Bearers, Mandal Presidents, members of District Executive Bodies, senior leaders, and state office bearers residing in the respective districts.

Addressing the camps as the key speaker, Ashok Koul emphasized the importance of disciplined organizational work and ideological commitment. He stated that BJP’s strength lies in its well-trained cadre and deep-rooted grassroots connect, which clearly distinguishes it from other political parties that often remain confined to opportunistic politics and personality-driven structures. He said that BJP is a cadre-based organization driven by ideology, where every worker is trained to serve the nation selflessly.

Koul asked party workers to remain dedicated to the principles of nationalism, good governance, and service to society. He stressed that Prashikshan Camps are vital platforms to equip workers with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively communicate the policies and achievements of the government to the masses. Terming these camps as a significant organizational initiative, he added that such structured training enhances organizational efficiency, ideological clarity, and leadership capabilities, enabling BJP workers to stand apart as committed nation servants rather than mere political functionaries.

North Zone Prashikshan Abhiyan Incharge and MLA Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, who addressed the Changthang District camp as the chief guest, highlighted the significance of continuous learning and organizational discipline. He said that unlike other parties, BJP consistently invests in grooming its cadre to ensure they remain connected with the people at all times. He underlined that such training programmes prepare dedicated leaders who work with a spirit of service, integrity, and accountability toward nation-building.

Tashi Gyaltson, in his presidential address, appreciated the overwhelming participation and enthusiasm of party workers. He reiterated that BJP's strong organizational culture and cadre-based approach are key factors behind its growing acceptance among the masses. He called upon the cadre to work unitedly to further strengthen the party at every level and ensure that the benefits of development reach every corner of Ladakh. He emphasized that the dedication, discipline, and ideological commitment of BJP workers will continue to drive the party’s success and reinforce its position as a people-centric and nation-first political force in the region.
