ANANTNAG: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Anantnag, Dr. Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat, today inaugurated the UIDAI-approved Aadhaar Seva Kendra (ASK) located at Batengoo. The inaugural ceremony was attended by the Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR), Tariq Ahmad Malik, Project Manager, Cluster Manager, and Operational Manager along with staff and the local public.

Following the inauguration, the Project Manager UIDAI briefed the Deputy Commissioner on the operational features of the facility and the full range of citizen-centric services related to Aadhaar available at the centre. Speaking on the occasion, the DC stressed the importance of smooth, efficient, and hassle-free service delivery to the public. He urged the management and staff to ensure high standards of operational quality so that local residents can access Aadhaar enrolment and update services seamlessly.

Notably, services like fresh Aadhaar enrolment, mandatory biometric updates for children, Cross Limit DOB, demographic updates (name, address, mobile number), and document verification services under UIDAI standards are available at the Aadhaar Seva Kendra Centre located at Ground Floor, Near Whiz Kidz STEM School Batengoo.
