UDHAMPUR: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai chaired a meeting with officers and field functionaries of the Revenue Department to discuss plans for the construction of proposed Revenue buildings across various sub-divisions in the district. The meeting was attended by ACR Dr. Umesh Shan, ACD Dr. Ranjit Singh Kotwal, CPO Mohammad Iqbal, SDMs, Tehsildars and XEN PWD from Chenani, Ramnagar and Udhampur.

At the onset, ACR Udhampur apprised the chair about the plan formulated for the construction of Revenue buildings in various sub-divisions. The Deputy Commissioner emphasized the need for maximum utilization of resources and directed the XENs to coordinate closely with the SDMs to understand their specific requirements. XENs were instructed to prepare and submit Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) and estimates for the proposed buildings at the earliest. She stressed the importance of having ready land parcels and directed the SDMs to ensure that the necessary land is available for the construction of the projects.
