SAMBA: In light of the ongoing peak summer season, the Deputy Commissioner Samba, Abhishek Sharma, chaired an emergency review meeting of the Power Development Department (PDD), here today.

The meeting was attended by the Executive Engineer, PDD, Assistant Executive Engineers (AEEs) and Assistant Engineers (AEs).

The DC emphasized the critical need to ensure an uninterrupted power supply during this period of heightened demand. He directed the PDD officials to take all necessary measures to maintain a stable and reliable power supply to all residents of Samba district.

To address any issue promptly, the DC instructed that control rooms to be fully operational to rectify any fault immediately. He also mandated that any damaged transformer be replaced immediately to minimize disruption and inconvenience to the public.

The Deputy Commissioner underscored the importance of the PDD's role in managing the power supply effectively and assured full support from the district administration to facilitate this objective.
