DODA: The District Development Commissioner Doda, Sh. Harvinder Singh chaired a meeting regarding the convergence plan of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) at conference hall DC Office Doda today. The meeting was attended by CPO Doda Manesh Kumar, ACD Doda Manoj Kumar, ACP Doda Musharif Ali, CAO Doda Anil Kumar, DYSSO Doda Sunil Kumar,  all BDOs, and other concerned officers/officials of the district.

During the meeting, the DDC Doda emphasized the need for effective coordination and collaboration among the concerned departments to ensure the successful implementation of the MGNREGA program in the district. The Convergence Plan aims to integrate various government schemes and programs to maximize the benefits for rural communities, particularly in terms of employment generation and infrastructure development.

The DDC Doda stressed the importance of leveraging the MGNREGA funds to create durable assets and improve livelihood opportunities for the rural population. He urged the Officers and officials to identify convergence opportunities with other flagship initiatives such as water harvesting sheds, Plantation drives, constructions of playgrounds, Swachh Bharat Mission, and other relevant schemes to achieve holistic development in the district.
