• Encourages youth to register for self-employment schemes

SHOPIAN: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb, the District Employment and Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Shopian today conducted an awareness camp in collaboration with the Revenue Department at Keller, Shopian. The main focus of the camp was to generate awareness among the youth regarding Mission Youth schemes.

The officials from DE&CC Shopian disseminated information regarding Mumkin, Tejaswini and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative schemes of Mission Youth. They encouraged the youth to avail benefits offered by the government under these schemes. In addition to this, registration desk was also set up by DE&CC Shopian to help the youth interested in availing financial assistance by facilitating them in filling the forms on spot.

Employees from the Revenue office, Keller addressed the youth and encouraged them to enroll in Government run self-employment schemes for generating respectable livelihoods for the maximum number of youth. They also requested the unemployed youth to maximize the participation in such awareness camps.
