In loving memory of Dr. Priya Ranjan: A mentor who treated me like family

JAMMU: J&K BJP spokesperson Dr. Tahir Choudhary praised Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s visionary leadership for launching the ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ campaign, aimed at supporting economically weaker Muslim families ahead of Eid. Dr. Choudhary emphasized that this initiative reflects the Prime Minister’s unwavering commitment to inclusive growth and social harmony.

“PM Modi’s vision is clear — development for all, without discrimination based on religion or caste. The ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ campaign is a remarkable step to ensure that even the underprivileged Muslim families can celebrate Eid with joy and dignity,” he said.

The campaign, which began in Nizamuddin, Delhi, under the guidance of BJP National President Shri JP Nadda, is expected to benefit over 32 lakh Muslim families across the country. Each kit includes essential food items like dates, dry fruits, sugar, and vermicelli, along with festive clothing — fabric for women’s suits and kurta-pajamas for men. The kits aim to provide relief to economically disadvantaged families during the festive season.

Dr. Choudhary highlighted that the BJP government has consistently worked to uplift marginalized communities through various welfare schemes. “From providing better educational opportunities to improving healthcare and ensuring financial inclusion, PM Modi’s government has taken transformative steps to empower the socio-economically weaker sections,” he added.

Expressing confidence that the ‘Saugat-e-Modi’ campaign will foster goodwill and strengthen social unity, Dr. Choudhary urged the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially the Muslim community, to participate actively in the ongoing development initiatives driven by the BJP government. “The vision of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ is being realized through such thoughtful campaigns that touch the lives of those who need it the most,” Dr. Choudhary concluded.
