The Survival Fight of JK Monitor: For 16 years, JK Monitor has chronicled Jammu and Kashmir with integrity. Since 2010, I have steered its newsroom alongside our visionary Founding Chairman, Dr. Priya Ranjan (IIT Kharagpur alumnus, University of Maryland Ph.D.). His tragic demise in October 2026 left a severe financial and operational vacuum. Without urgent support, our 24/7 news portal risks permanently shutting down after November 2026, remaining only as a static digital archive. We appeal to well-wishers to extend a helping hand to keep our active newsroom alive. Support Us: WhatsApp: +91-9906103001 | Email: journalistajmerwani@gmail.com

JAMMU: Jammu & Kashmir BJP President and Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Sat Sharma, chaired a meeting of the BJP Mahila Morcha at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The meeting was led by Mahila Morcha President Adv. Neha Mahajan and attended by senior leaders including Veenu Khanna, Shailja Gupta, Urvashi Gupta, and other prominent activists.

Sat Sharma, while addressing the Morcha activists, emphasized the pivotal role of the Mahila Morcha in strengthening the party at the grassroots level and shaping a progressive society. He stated that Mahila Morcha is not just a wing of the party, but a powerful force that connects BJP with every household, ensuring that the voice of women becomes the strength of the nation. He added that women activists are instrumental in taking forward the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, especially in ensuring the success of welfare schemes and inclusive development.

Sat Sharma further underlined that every Mahila Morcha activist carries a threefold responsibility towards the nation, society, and the party. He urged them to actively engage with communities, raise awareness about government initiatives, and work as ambassadors of social change. He also highlighted that in today’s evolving political landscape, the participation and leadership of women are key to achieving a stronger and self-reliant India.

Adv. Neha Mahajan, speaking on the occasion, elaborated on the ongoing activities being undertaken by the Mahila Morcha across Jammu & Kashmir. She informed that Morcha activists have been actively involved in outreach programmes, awareness drives on government schemes, health camps, and community service initiatives. She also shared details of upcoming programmes, including booth-level strengthening drives, special campaigns focusing on women empowerment, and participation in party-led mass contact initiatives.
